No. You need to do a lot of research. They are very sensitive to location - the ones you see near buildings typically do not work well. You need a lot of space. Check out the Navitron forums. You might be better off with PV.0

I live next to a field right out in the Fens and you'd think it was everso windy but there's not enough to make a wind turbine viable - not unless it was 100ft high.
I can actually see a wind turbine associated with a pumping station about a mile away across the fields and it doesn't go round half as often as you think it should.
As said, you'd need to do a lot of research otherwise you could end up wasting a lot of money - Solar PV is probably more viable, it's tried and testedNever under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0
