Laptop for Adobe Premier Pro

My son needs to buy a new laptop for video editing. He plans to use Adobe Premier Pro. The minimum specifications will require a high spec.
His budget was between £500-£600 but if pushed would go to £700. Our issue is one of the specs is a 7200 rpm or faster hard drive, we are struggling to find a laptop with this at a reasonable price So far we have only found one within his budget:

I would appreciate if anyone has any recommendations or suggestions.

I would not recommend a laptop.
If you are wanting to have a video editing rig, you need to chose how you'd like to render the videos. With Premiere Pro you can chose to either rely on the graphics card (GPU rendering) or the processor and RAM (CPU rendering). not all graphics cards support GPU rendering, but most latest Nvdia ones do. And they render quicker than a high end CPU and 16GB RAM.
An SSD as opposed to a spin drive would also be beneficial to ensure faster writing and reading times when rendering your content, copying data and general PC tasks.
For me personally, I have 16GB RAM, Quad Core i5, and a 512GB SSD. I can render pretty quick in Premiere Pro and push out a lot of video content in a short time.Total Debt Left: £14,843 / £23,954

Does it have to be a laptop ?
Photo and video editing is better done on a desktop with a decent screen (22inches plus, IPS screen) and he'll get better value for money.
You'll be hard pressed to find a laptop specced as good as that for less money. The more you can throw at Premiere pro the better
Note that laptop is also FHD (1920x1080 ).Science isn't exact, it's only confidence within limits.0 -
Thanks for the quick replies. He was going for a laptop simply for convenience of portability and not having to always sit at his desk when editing as his desk is in a different room to his bedroom. I will suggest a desktop and have a look at what he can get for his budget. If you have any suggestions advice is greatly appreciated.
