i really don't think motorola would release a software update that would cause this problem, think of the issues it would cause with everyone who upgraded.0

I had a Galaxy S2 and there were several updates available and i didnt do any of them.
I liked the way Gingerbread worked and stuck with it. Updates are not essential to keep it working. Some updates seem to change stuff for the sake of it.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
