Good morning.
I have a new laptop that operates Windows 10 and I have received an e mail that has a PDF file attached. This file is in Slovak and I need it transferring to a word document in order to put it into Google Translate.
Are there any simple programmes free of charge that offers this function. I would be appreciative if someone knows the answer and provide something that would convert.
Thank you and kind regards

Can you not just copy&paste the text for translation?
Also, you can save it as a TXT file from Adobe Reader.0 -
I've used a conversion site called zamzar.com - you upload the PDF, choose what format you want it converted to, enter your email address, and it sends you a message when it's done. There's a size limit, but it's quite big, I've done manuals of 400+ pages. If there are images mixed in, it can give it some trouble.0

Just Google PDF to Word and you will see loads of results. Many are free.0

As grumbler said, why putting it in Word and then into Google Translate? If the PDF contains text, mark it, copy it and paste it directly into Google Translate. If the PDF only contains a picture of the text, then Word won't help you too. In this case you need OCR software.0

Were you expecting the email? That combination would not pass most filters. It's taken me years of experience to get this cynical0

I use Foxit Reader to view .pdf files
There's an option in there to view as a text file - can you do that ??0
