Virgin Media webmail is leaving Google and will be managed by another company or VM.
That's good, I can't stand the Google layout.
I checked my old ntlworld.com email addresses, they have migrated and changed to new system & layout. Had email about about changeover in July and confirmation email in September that these had changed over.
My virginmedia.com email address is still using Google system/layout.
Anyone know when this will migrate or if it should have been done by now ?

According to my emails it's migrated. That said I only use it log into VM. Best move away from your ISP email to one of the independents.
If you don't like Google try GMX or one of the many others.
Collecting your old email address at the new provider is easy and you can still use it while making the move.Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

The VM email migration from Gmail is fairly shambolic, as was the previous migration to Gmail, as was VM's own Exchange-based mail system before that. There seems little reason to assume that the current email system will be greatly improved.
VM seems not to want to be bothered by email (on which it can't make any money).
If you can put up with how the new email system works, fine, otherwise consider getting your own domain and thus email addresses which you can control, or take up one of RumRat's excellent suggestions.0
