Me and other half would love to go visit this, but we'd like to stay overnight so to make it like a mini break. He's been before and says it's fab and I've never been so would love to see it.
Does anyone know if any offers have appeared for overnight stays in Birmingham or does anyone know of any good hotels, not too expensive but would like maybe breakfast included?
Thanks for any help

there are several premier inns in birmingham centre, most of them have breakfast restaurants, and the breakfast is great value.0

There are several Premier Inns in Birmingham city centre.
and Wetherspoon have a hotel http://www.jdwetherspoon.co.uk/home/hotels/the-briar-rose that is about two minutes walk from the Christmas Market. Wetherspoon hotel doesn't include breakfast, but thats only £7 or so in the pub anyway.0 -
there is an ibis styles which is 10 minutes walk from New Street, also a Travelodge0

the premier inns in the city centre are cashing in on the christmas markets and they have put a two night minimum stay on weekends on the saver rate rooms, if you want a one nightter then a saturday night room at flexible rate will cost about £100-£120.00 a night
if you could make you break a sunday monday then you can get a single night saver rate room for £29.00 in the new street premier inn0 -
Hi
You could look at hotels neat to M6 junct 7, or as far afield as Walsall/West Brom/Solihull then spend £8 on a family daysaver for the bus.
HTHFind out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)0 -
Go for as city centre as possible if wanting a mini-break. Any money saved by going further out would be eaten up in cab fare! As other posters say, there are an abundance of city centre hotels. Most central is the Premier Inn on New St or the Burlington.
In no circumstances go to the market on a Saturday near Xmas, it's so busy that you literally struggle to move. I work in the city so know all too well!!0 -
The last time I went to Birmingham we stayed in the Travelodge as that was the cheapest chain we could find, they do breakfast or you can just go out which is what we did.0
