Having had all my paperwork through after completing my IVA:jj
i have checked my credit files on experian and equifax and sure enough most entries have dropped off. 2 are however showing defaults after my original IVA start date 1 with Halifax 1 year after and another with ee 2 years after. As these were both part of the iva I would have thought the default dates would be the same as the missing records. However, I am not sure if they received any money as they were small amounts to begin with. Question is can I do anything to have these removed? My scores are quite good on experian 986 but I believe these 2 outstanding defaults have led to me having a current account application rejected.
Any help greatly appreciated

You would basically follow the same approach as the bankruptcy correction./cleanup here.
--> Credit Reference File Clean Up Post Bankruptcy
Exactly the same principles apply, but..
- Reference to bankruptcy is replaced by those terms appropriate to an IVA instead.
- Default date must be recorded as no later than the start date of your IVA.
- Any satisfaction date must be no later than the completion date of the IVA. This is not crucial though, as the default date is what controls when things drop off.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
