    My VW Touran takes a double bass on a trolley (converts to the stool), daughter's cello, other daughter's violin, husband's viola, 4 music stands, 4 changes of clothes and a picnic as well as the 4 of us. I took the bass and cello round the car showrooms because needing to carry them was vital.

    Trailers need to be fully enclosed to carry any instruments as the temperature difference after being transported would wreck the tuning, even for drums.
