Never got there for a couple of reasons. The day we had put aside heavy rain was forecast, and so didn't want to risk part of the complex being wet or flooded. Also we'd spent a couple of hours at the War Remnants Museum in Saigon, which gave fairly vivid images of what to expect.

That's a shame, I'd imagine heavy rain might have made for a miserable experience though. I'd have been scared to go underground in case it became a swimming pool.

We went to the war museum too. What a place! I'll never forget the foetus's in jars. Brought it all home for me the reality of that war and how futile it all seemed.....

For me Cu Chi was definitely a worthwhile and extremely informative visit. I'd recommend if you're ever back in HCMC.

Yep,all part of the atrocities during living memory that went on, are still going on, and politicians never seem to learn from.
