    Works out a lot cheaper per load (so I'm told). Truth be told, I was going to chuck it out and get a Miele heat pump. This one came with the house. But it's been a great job.

    Gas will be about a third of the cost to run, but you have to factor in the cost of a GSR RGI to install it.
    A Miele condenser will be no more energy efficient than any other condenser model, unless it has a heat pump.
    Typically it'll take 5-6 years to recover the extra cost of a heat pump drier, dependent on usage obviously.
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
