Hi All,

I have a column in Excel that I want to input a new value into, how can I change the criteria?

I've tried highlighting the entire column and selecting "data validation" but this doesn't seem to work.

Thanks

Data validation should bring up a dialogue box that allows you to change the allowed values. Three tabs on the dialogue box, you want the first one - settings.

You can also enter values that are not allowed by pasting from somewhere else (paste special - values only).
