Samsung laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium.
Up until a couple of days ago, when I clicked the round Windows logo "button", bottom left of screen, the shutdown option appeared. However, now "sleep" appears and the shutdown option has moved to the list which appears when I click on the arrow to the right.
I don't recall doing anything to change this. The only thing that I have done is installed some Samsung updates prior to this change.
It's not a major issue, but does anyone know how I can change this back to show shutdown instead of sleep?

If you right-click on the arrow, and open the Properties window, you can choose the Power Button action. Does that help? I can't quite tell if it means the icon or the physical power button.0

Yes, the round icon, bottom left of screen. Not the physical power button. However, thanks very much for the information. That's exactly what I needed and it works.:T0

You learn something new every day. I've been using Microsoft operating systems since well before the advent of Windows and I'd never come across that before.0 -
Nor me. I thought it was just based on which action you did last time, but figured a right-click might be worth a look.0
