Has anyone used the fundraising site easyfundraising.org.uk? Is it too easy and too good to be true?

Coming very late into this - our PTA at school did this years ago, where you shop though their page and get a % back, we found very few parent used it and it didn't really make us that much money. We spent lots of time promoting it to our parents (who had the technology to do so) but it never really took off. I left the PTA nearly 7 years ago so may be different now but that was my experience with it.

As long as you don't have unrealistic expectations, it works very well. However, you do have to be willing to promote it regularly and you do need to have supporters who are committed enough to remember to shop using the link. It's all too easy to forget - even for those promoting the platform! With good promotion, it can work well.

We've recently signed up to Give as you Live which is similar to easyfundraising but I felt it was much more organised. However as previous posters have said it is hard work still getting people on board. They do send regular marketing marketing materials though for sharing on social media which is a great help as it means you can concentrate on getting supporters.

I have used it before and it is quite easy to use and apply to. My experience was easy and people wanting to donate also found it very easy.
