Why can't the courses be completed during time on shift?

What industry are you in? Just so people can understand the situation better.

Are you on minimum wage? Or more?
Does the job have growth/a future, or is it a dead end job at a pokey corner shop?
Are you learning proper skills in these online courses, or are you feeling it's a waste of time?

You don't have access to reliable internet at home to drop outs/ router issues etc.

Will you get paid the time for doing it at home?
    Was this discussed at interview?
We had a load of mandatory elearning which was near impossible for people to do while on shift, but we used to pay people for doing it on their home computer.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
  • Can't really say what job on here some off the courses are needed but don't see why I should do them at home

Please give us something useful to go on! How much time on average over the past month/ year? A day every month is very different to an hour or so every once in a while. What are the courses about?
