What does this mean? trying to CCJ set aside off Legal Parking Enforcement (UK) LTD

I recently filed a claim to get a county court Judgement set aside off the above named parking company.

I have just received a reply off Liverpool County Court but I do not know what it means. Can any one help me out please.

It states at the top this is a General Form of Judgement or Order.

Then has the 1st Claimant as Legal Parking Enforcers (UK) LTD
Then the first defendant named as myself.

Then it states; "Before Deputy District Judge and names the Judge, sitting at the Count Court at Liverpool, Liverpool, Civil and Family Courts, 35 Vernon Street, Liverpool, L2 2BX.

Then it says it is Ordered that;

1. Defendant do by 23rd October 2015 file a draft Defence to the substantive claim, in default his application be struck out. (what does this mean).

Dated 7th October 2015.

I need to know what this means? Thanks.

It means you file your defence statement by the date or your case gets dropped.
"why you seek to overturn the CCJ"

  • I have no idea , however I made the comment (question) above in the hope that it might hit someone's memory , having tried to so a stay with a non company , and the routine might have been different

if it is a non company , they are not going to show up and argue , are they?

so has the company closed down?

What was the text of their particulars of claim? Can you remember anything about the actual incident?

You defence might be 'This is a scam claim from a dissolved company and the parking never happened'

Or it might be 'The driver parked there but never saw the signs'

or 'From the claim form I have no idea what car park they are talking about'

    Or 100 other things
We need more details to advise on the best defence

I think he means.. what was the parking incident that led to the original parking charge (that led to the CCJ)?

Start from the very beginning....... then the more learned amongst us might be in a better position to advise you.....
