Is there a card I can get in the UK that works with Apple Pay in the USA?

Who do you currently bank with? If they support Apple Pay just add your card to Passbook/Wallet and then you'd be able to use it abroad.
A no fee/low fee card (i.e. Halifax Clarity) for foreign transactions would be your best bet. It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0 -
Something to be aware of. UK Visa cards on Apple Pay will NOT work in 99% of places in the US as Visa doesn't support the old type of contactless used in the US.
Any UK MasterCard or Amex card will work in the US fine. Taking this into consideration. You probably either want the Halifax Clarity MasterCard or MBNA Everyday Plus Amex card as they both offer no fees abroad.0 -
Ok thanks. I have a H/fax Clarity on the way. My 'current' everyday card is MBNA transferred from Amazon (I miss my points) so I may end up using the Clarity permanently.0
