Can I switch to the same provider?
Hi there,
I'm with EON and pay £104 a month Direct Debit for both gas and electricity.
I've done a few comparisons using the MSE group and via uSwitch and the best offer I got is a uSwitch collective switch (not available elsewhere) that would save me £280 a year - but it's with EON.
Is there anything they can do to stop me switching to the better deal?

When you consult any comparison site it will always say whether or not you can apply for any specific supplier/tariff through them or not.
If not, you will need to go direct to the supplier to apply (or hope to find another comparison site that will allow you to apply via them)
For this to work correctly, it is usually important that you have input the correct current supplier(s)
A collective switch tariff is only available via the third part that offers it - so you can't even go direct to the supplier to obtain it. Therefore it will always be shown by the comparison site (or other body) offering it as available to be obtained through them.0 -

Good morning GregOla,
molerat has hit the nail on the head, thank you:D
Yes, you can change to the tariff even though we already supply, as said you'll have to change on to it via the collective through USwitch as we don't offer the tariff directly.
If you need any help though, let me know, always happy to help
