I gave 31 days notice on tv,then rang about phone etc on Tuesday, with 8 days to go,as I had free line rental.
As tv was cancelled, (but not off), I was offered free broadband , £9.99 line to go up to £10.99 and my £5 calls to go up to £8,as I said I wanted the mobile option, but they wouldn't give me the 50% off tv plus £%) credit offer emailed to me
The person messed up and I had to call back, upon which the person in Accounts person found me a call centre person who still had the tv offer on their list.
However,as the first person messed up a manager had to adjust my account , but ,next day, found that the £9.99 phone offer was no longer available, so I got half price line rental, instead, meaning I'm better off as half price line rental will only go up by 50p.0
