Advertised sale - but item marked price different

I recently purchased a Jacket which was advertised at £250 retail price on all websites. I purchased from a well known retailer.
This jacket was apparently on sale marked down from £250 to £125. Although I would never have paid £250 for the Jacket I thought this sale price was a barging so I went ahead and purchased it immediately thinking I was saving over £100 on a well known brand from a well known retailer.
the item got delivered today and on the jacket label the price states £150 as the original price. I feel like I have been mislead in purchasing this jacket and have only saved £25 rather than over £100.
Do I have any consumer rights for the misleading marked price?

No, their will most likely be small print saying it was for sale at the higher price for so long or the discount was of RRP, and considering that's what you saw it for elsewhere that is most likely,
You bought an item for a price you were happy to pay so what is the problem?0 -
Perhaps the jacket was originally £250, then reduced to £150 now it has been further reduced to £125?0

Thank you. I read the small print and the jacket has never been on sale for £150 and I have also queried with them what the retail price is and if this jacket has been on sale in the past year before at a lower price. They informed me the jacket is £250 and this is the first time it has been on sale.
It is advertised on the north face website and every other website at £250.
The issue is I didn't really need a new ski jacket as I have one and the only reason I purchased this was because of the saving I thought I was getting. although it is a lovely jacket I think it is unfair they are advertising such a big sale when actually I only saved £25.
they have the same jacket advertised but in a different colour which is not on sale for £250 surely that is miss leading enough to think the purchase was a great saving.0 -
Well, you say the jacket was delivered, which implies you bought it online or by phone, so if you've had it less than 14 days simply return it for a full refund (you may well have to pay the return postage though).0

So you didn't need it, but bought it because it was a "bargain"?
I don't understand your logic. Were you planning to resell it at a higher price? If not, why did you buy it at all?0 -
Your logic for buying is seriously flawed.
Quick tip, sales are kidology RRP means absolutely nothing, it's a made up number that makes you think it's a bargain when it's reduced to half price. P.s don't forget the extra 20% of for a limited time only.0 -

So what is your problem then? You got it cheap
Not sure why you queried has it been on sale at a lower price, You should have been asking how long it was on sale at £250 for0 -
Buyers remorse anyone?
As above, if you've bought it online then return it for a refund. You may have to pay return postage, depending on the retailer's policy.0 -
