ZZPS / Vinci Park @ Milton Keynes XScape?

Options
Hey, in September I received a PCN dated 2nd September from Vinci Park, regarding my use of a car park at Milton Keyne X-Scape on 26th July, 'without a valid permit'.

I'm fairly confident I would have bought a ticket, although the car-park seems to have various bays with different ticket machines foreach, which is confusing.

I also received a letter on the same day, dated 4th September, which appears to be identical.

26th July-September 12th (date of the first letter, although it arrived later), is 5 weeks and 2 days, in case relevant.

I then, foolishly, went abroad without responding and now have a letter from 'ZZPS', saying the unpaid PCN has been passed over to resolve and is now £120, including late payment and debt recovery charges.

Curiously, for a debt collection agency, their letters have an identical layout and address to Vinci Park's letter?

On inspection, I can see Vinci Park is in fact a trading name for ZZPS, so they're the same company.

Can I follow the advice in this thread and simply ignore them?

No need for any template letters?

What is the point of the template letters, if I can just ignore anyway?

Advice appreciated, thanks!

AS you have missed the opportunity to appeal - which would have put the whole thing to bed - the only option you have is to ignore and hope for the best. Writing to any debt collector - which is all that ZZPS are will be wasted and the same goes for Vinci.

As for the links you propose that Vinci Park, a well known international company, is a trading style of a tuppenny-ha'penny debt collector like ZZPS I think you are mistaken. Love to see the evidence that led you to that conclusion.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com
