We run a small internet retail business from home but want to expand this more. Does anyone have any recommendations for a database backed shop front software package that's relatively easy to use?

alwayschristmas - we are a new business and have bought the xcart software - https://www.litecommerce.com - various packs you can buy, we got the most basic (lite) and bought some add-ons to customise the site for our shop.
Very easy to use, all pages set up as templates which you can edit and add to - anything over and above this you will need knowledge of html.
Not bad prices as well, we paid £80 for the basic pack and then about £50 on top of that for extras.
They've got a really good forum as well so that once you've brought the software you get access to this and loads of technical support/advice from other users.
Hope this helps!0 -
