Hi Hofner
Can they visit you? In theory, yes - not that they have any meaningful powers. In practice, however, it's pretty much inconceivable, for any number of reasons.
Your best bet is to send one of the template letters referred to above and that puts the ball firmly back in RW's court.

Phishing letters are one thing, but as said if you are then given details or threatened with court action via a 'letter before clam' then it's usually best to respond to refute any claim or accusations.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Ok so i sent the template letter that i had no Knowledge and that the account would be statute barred by now.
Today i received a reply from Robinson Way acknowlwdging my letter,
in the letter they say they will investigate my complaint and that the account will be put on hold untill my complaint has been resolved.
They also sent me a leaflet with there complaints procedures.

As long as they keeps it on hold, they have up to 8 weeks from your initial complaint to give a final response. Until then, or the 8 weeks expires without one, nothing really for you to do.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Just make sure you keep the letter safe, just in case the debt rears its ugly head again with another DCA."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0
