TSB opened a few days before the promotion started...

I hate myself, I opened TSB account on Monday the week they started to do the 125 switching promotion through moneysavingexpert.com on a Friday.

I opened it based on moneysavingexpert.com advice!

Can I still somehow get a switching bonus? I have not yet switched my current account to TSB. So have two at the moment.

MoneySavingExpert isn't clairvoyant, it can only tell you about currently available deals, not about future ones.

If you bought an item in a shop and they reduced the price the next day, would you expect to get a refund for the difference?

Close your account and start all over again through the offer link.

At the risk of opening a whole can of worms:p

Many years ago I bought a shiny new iPod Nano from Amazon. About 2 days after it was delivered, I noticed the price had dropped by around £20, almost 25%.

I emailed Amazon customer services, politely pointing out that under the Distance Selling Regulations, I could return my iPod, request a full refund, and buy another, saving myself £20. Would they consider saving us both the effort? Much to my surprise, they refunded the price difference :T

Switch the current TSB account to someone else such as Halifax, Nationwide or HSBC to get a switching bonus then open a new TSB account switching your existing current account with whoever who currently bank with.

I open up donor accounts, set up 2 direct debits and switch them so I never have to touch my actual current account.

It's all getting very confusing at the moment.

:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p
