Help !! am i missing something ???

Options
 hi, im probably being really thick, ( this may be due to the mind boggling array of forms and red tape in recent weeks !) or not!!!

but i have recieved my final confirmation of student loan , parent learning allowance , fee tutition etc , but havnt applied for childcare yet,
i havnt recieved my course timetable yet so i cant set up childcare as i have no idea of costs , or how often i will need it,
....is it normal to set up the childcare grant after recieving the rest of the grants etc ?? or should i have this sorted by now..?

i am a mature student studying HND Photography, a single mum, currently on benefits, so i have little to pay up front if its going to take an age !

please advise, feeling out of my depth and the course hasnt started yet lol!!!:rotfl:

  • The CCG is generally the last thing set up. Have you organised a childcare provider? If so you could "gestimate" your costs and apply, or if not, just wait. You will need to confirm your costs later anyway.

Remember that your university's student services are there for you even before you start, so you can always check with them too.
