Sky international calls query

Hello all, quick question on behalf of my parents. They currently pay £10 a month for sky international calls as my mother calls Canada once a fortnight for around 30 minutes. She has been informed of the price increase of £2 from 1st December, therefore making the package £12 a month. Looked online to find out how much it actually costs to call Canada without the international call package but I can't find it anywhere.

Anyone here have any ideas??

No idea what it would cost with Sky, but my Mum uses Call18185 to call Canada - she also has Sky phone rental.

A 30 minute phone call would cost 30p plus 4 connection so 34p. Two calls a month would be 68p.

She would be better just to take the Anytime package - will be £8pm from 1st December - so saving £4pm and using Call18185 for Canadian calls instead.

I take it using Skype to video call isn't an option?

If she downgrades to Anytime extra (NOT anytime extra international) she'd get calls to Canada included for 2p a minute - better value at 8 pounds plus 2 calls a month costing roughly #1.20 total.
