i have a frost free fridge freezer, problem is that items in fridge compartment tend to get too cold and freeze, temperature settin on it is ok. at the moment i just switch it off at night .
any ideas as to what problem might be.?
i dont want to spend a lot on repairs as its about 6 years old.

Might be broken thermostat.
When you adjust the temp fully up to fully down can you hear a faint click? (You should)I am not a cat (But my friend is)0 -
Have you cleaned the drain hole out on the inside, bottom of the back wall ??
May be blocked.......
Turn off & unplug then get a piece of wire or similar about 12 inches long poke it through the drain hole a few times.
Get some water & pour some through the drain hole to check that it runs away.
Before you turn it back on pull out the appliance & give it a good vacuum / brush out.
Simple things are always worth a try first !!

Make sure there is plenty of ventilation behind and under the fridge freezer.0
