What size chimney hood

I've fitted out a new kitchen with a 60cm induction hob from Neff. I need a new chimney extractor hood and I'm looking at 3 possible Neff hoods: a 60, a 70 and a 90cm unit. They're all part of Neff's Autumn trade in

What kind of extractor hood is recommended for this type of hob.

I can see an advantage in having a wider hood than hob: it has a better chance of catching more steam!

While I have the space for any of the above I think the 60cm hood would look better. However if it were a choice between looks and efficiency well efficiency would win hands down

i thin your hood and hob size are supposed to be the same for them to look best, however if you think it will do a better job I dont think the 70cm will look odd but think that the 90cm one will not look good

It is perfectly normal to have a wider extractor than hob. You are correct it will do a better job and I also think it looks much better than an extractor the same size as the hob.
