There's not much that has changed in M, as far as affects the list. The prices on some of the Savers pet food have increased.
I think I have solved the swede mystery:Savvybuyer wrote: »ASDA Swede by Weight (760g)97p/kg [Strike]97p/kg[/Strike] 65p/kg Perhaps. Not sure about this one as they seem to be "min. 500g" at 50p which... is about 97p/kg. Yet I have some older stock priced at 76p (which is 97p/kg). May mean it doesn't work as there is old stock around:rotfl:.
The ones in M that are flashed "50p" say on them, much less prominently, that they are 100p/kg. As opposed to the regular price of 97p/kg:rotfl:. I have some of this stock still in my store, at straight 76p, straight £1.12, various prices depending on weight - normal price 97p/kg (it's been like that for quite some time). It therefore seems that the ones that look like they are on a 50p "offer" are therefore a price increase! It's actually not an "offer" at all - nowhere does it say it is - it just has the important red-bordered label that people wrongly think means it is. It seems the size is lower and the 50p price is actually charging more for that size. The 65p/kg is incorrect. Swede may of course be bought for much cheaper on whoopsies.
One "deal" to avoid, IMO, is the one, continuing on from Monday, on the frozen 'meal deal' - in the end freezer aisle as far as I can see (I don't if it may be in a different place in other M stores) - 3 for £5:eek::eek:. Three items for a fiver. Such as, you could have, Birds Eye 4 pack Crispy Chicken that I would expect to be £1.62 (although I don't bother with that and go for Sains Basics:eek: at £1.20:p), some frozen chips, that I would expect to pay £1, and an Aunt Bessie's Roly Poly, again £1 is the usual offer price for those! Total of... £3.62:D, so 3 for £5 is quite an overpayment! Avoid everything in that freezer - as far as I'm concerned it can stay in the store and let it go frozen. (The £3.62 shelf price is not available in M at the moment. That's what price it should be, if the items were bought separately at a different time on which they were on their "alright" offers.)
I know Pepsi 2L bottles are on 3 for £2, although my guide price is zero pence:D, or better:rotfl:. However, which exact and specific flavours are in the offer? (Oh, useless £1 in A at the moment:rotfl: - instead of any mbuy which might have been okay had it been 3 for £3 but £1.98x3.) However, whilst it doesn't seem glitchable at the moment but may be one to watch if anything changes in the next week, long story short, I'm not putting any of them onto any list. They (whichever ones they may be - and there's half the problem) are clearly on 3 for £2 but I'm not happy with the displays in M, so I don't think the mbuy would be picked up. I may be wrong. Had I visited three other Ms than the three I did, I may have been left with a different view.
M now has some "For Farmers" milk, 4 pints at £1.12. Which, according to the SELs I've seen, is £493.10:eek::eek: per litre!:rotfl: (Obviously they have that just a little bit wrong;).)0 -
Update on my refused coupons from this morning- spoke to A helpline who were confused as to why they hadn't been accepted. They asked me to send a photo of them which I have done so just need to wait now.0

One for the pepsi junkies too
Pepsi Max, Regular & Diet 2l - £1 / 3 bottles for £2.00 @ Morrisons
http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/pepsi-max-regular-diet-2l-1-3-bottles-for-2-morrisons-2300712
Do we know about Caffeine Free, whether that's on the mbuy offer? (As that's the one I was "struggling" with knowing from what I see on the shelf as to whether it is in the offer or not.) I assume that it is, because I imagine that all versions at 2L are in the offer. My store had put a 3 for £2 offer label underneath nearly all versions on the shelf space, and not just the Max version that they had out at the front of the store. However, they have omitted to put the 3 for £2 underneath the Caffeine Free one. I do not think there is any magic to this: as I still suspect that all varieties are in the offer - I don't see why they would have excluded one - however I do not *know* this, as it's not clear enough for Savvy who requires everything to be absolutely specific and totally clear without any doubt whatsoever no matter how minor.
Then there's other stock around the store and it has £1 offer label "until 29/10" on that:rotfl::rotfl:. Make your mind up! Is it £1 until 29/10, or 3 for £2 until 20/10? Obviously they have only just put 3 for £2 offer onto "Pepsi 2 litres" (that's all it says - Pepsi 2 litres:laugh: - so just regular then and Max and Diet excluded?!? Obviously not: I "know" Max and Diet are included, many thanks to my own reading between the lines than to what is actually stated, a shelving that has 3 for £2 across many strongly suggests that all of the flavours are on the offer - nonetheless, see the problems I have (or create for myself:rotfl:) - it just says "Pepsi", a word that has at least two meanings (and therefore is ambiguous for me) - it could mean "all versions of Pepsi" or it could mean "Pepsi Regular only". Does "Pepsi" mean just Pepsi (in other words Pepsi Regular and no other) or does "Pepsi" mean Pepsi (i.e. Pepsi Regular) and Pepsi Max (and all the other flavours)? If you say "Pepsi", you do not automatically mean "Pepsi Max" to me - I will get you Pepsi Regular, unless you specify, for example, Pepsi Max (in which case I'd get you Pepsi Max) or Pepsi Diet (then I'd get you Pepsi Diet), I'd get you Pepsi Regular if you asked me for "Pepsi". Or I'd be enquiring "which one?" and causing everyone to debate on the matter for hours on end:rotfl::rotfl:.)
I gathered that Max and Regular were in the offer - other stores putting out those stock (but not the others:D) to the front and putting "3 for £2" on them. However, they have just plain £1 on the shelf-shock in those two further stores:(. No indication of any 3 for £2 at all (even though it's out there, at the fronts of stores, and therefore the Pepsis (whichever it may be!) are clearly on the mbuy offer). Which is why I reckon the mbuy may not be recognised by other stores' price collectors (no indication of it on shelf stock in some M stores).
I assume Pepsi Caffeine Free is in the new offer, like all the others appear to be from the shelving. (I've no idea on anything really, I'm just assuming the whole lot:rotfl:.) However, I have not seen any Pepsi Caffeine Free brought out to the fronts of stores and that stock, as a whole, marked with "3 for £2" big offer label. And the one store that had the shelf stock marked up:( didn't go as far as putting any offer label underneath the Caffeine Free version (although it's extension to all the other varieties on the shelf strongly suggests all versions, inc. Caffeine Free, are on the mbuy offer). Is Pepsi Caffeine Free on the mbuy offer like I have the impression that it is? (I wish you'd be clear and not leave me with implied impressions Mr M:rotfl:.)0 -
Oh look!:rotfl:
Pepsi Caffeine Free is in the mbuy offer, according to m.com:
https://groceries.morrisons.com/webshop/product/Pepsi-Caffeine-Free/273206011?from=search&tags=|105651¶m=pepsi+caffeine&parentContainer=SEARCHpepsi+caffeine_SHELFVIEW
However, it wasn't mentioned by the hotdeals poster. Maybe they were just as confused as me from the shelving:rotfl:.
Actually it didn't "confuse" me that much, as I assumed it was in the mbuy and was 98% sure that it would be included from what I'd seen. However, I had that 2% niggling area of doubt.
I noticed the Caffeine Free version was not specified by the hotdeals poster - although that is probably more to do with people generally not been complete in what they say. Instead people just mention three they've seen rather than every possible version of them:rotfl:.0 -
An essay again:eek:, this time about Pepsi Caffeine Free, in my post #961. I can't believe I wrote all that much (or maybe I can:rotfl:). I'm in two minds whether to pull the post down. Does anyone want me to leave the post up for posterity or shall I get rid of all that rubbish(:rotfl:):D:o:)?
EDIT: I notice no-one's here anyway:rotfl:. Where is everyone - is there a huge glitch on? It was nearly an hour between aau1's last post and my first one this afternoon.0 -
I am here but technically I am not for another half an hour
and anyway savvy there is a lot you need to get off your chest so I am not going to interrupt your flow otherwise you will loose the end of your sentence
I have a few things to ponder about but much later ...“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0
