That could quite possibly be true. I dont have issues with him himself, what I do have issues with is coming on here gloating about a glitch that he cant/wont share with the obvious intention to upset the thread.
I am fortunate to be comfortable with my finances, but I dare say some people on here, maybe lurkers, maybe not, are possibly in dire financial situations, and the help that glitch might have been able to provide them could have been priceless, a lifeline.
You would not tease someone in real life like that (or at least if you have even a small amount of humanity I would hope you would not) so why do it on here for a few cheap thrills.
If anyone else can give an explanation of why that glitch was aired on here, I am willing to listen. And no, the idea that it was just to say that it was the reason the PP was getting changed does not cut it, that could have been said without all the gloating.
To me, it stinks of pure nastiness, just no need at all, and everyone involve should be ashamed of themselves. Karma has a way of catching up with people though.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

Thanks piglet for the find and thanks to A for pointing it out as I am slightly skimming today.
Sounds like nanny is on the mend (actual a brandy with Downton was a bit of a giveaway). Hope those with taps for noses dry up a bit.
FC good luck for Friday's scan.
I have had too many things going on lately and Dr says I am run down still. Rash has appeared all over face and neck (not been near TM or her fleas).
Self in forced confined to house but not resting much as trying to get some packing done.
Think I will try a red velvet cake on a delivery as need a few bits and bobs.

You seriously need to slow down and have a rest
You'd say exactly the same to me
I'm actually touching wood I haven't succumbed to the lurgy. I was advised to stay away from infections and so far, despite Ds2 having a raging cold and every man and his dog at work sneezing in my vicinity, I've managed to stay well. Maybe all that time I'm spending peeing out my 3/4l of water a day has saved me :rotfl:

Just received another Boden £10 gift voucher. Bought an embroidered scarf for £7.20 with free delivery. They are giving me the remaining £2.80 as a credit for next time I visit.
The scarfs a horrible colour but it will go in the present box:rotfl:
Hope we are all signed up:)
That was quick, must only be about 6 weeks since your last one:eek:
I had 20% off emails last week nut no £10 vouchers. I made the fatal mistake of actually buying a dress off them unsolicited. OK was in the sale on an extra discount weekend but don't think I will get another voucher for a while.
Mum will have to sign up tomorrow:rotfl:

They will already know that muggles will buy brands no matter what. those muggles do not notice or care when they buy their brand and get a few quid off their shopping.
The under muggles are the ones who get tempted when brands are on offer and are their most lucrative customer. They will buy when a brand is on offer and feel like they got a bargain and stay oblivious to what a PP even is.
My take:
Brands (that are not on glitch) are not generally a good way of saving money and matching brands on over-the-odds prices (still more expensive compared to buying own label) is not usually a very good way for consumers to go. Doubtless why S, and now T, go down that route. Also, people generally love their brands:wall::wall:! It's not about me, or the majority on this thread - it's about people generally: in other words totally ignorant as to the prices or worth of almost everything.
People generally will buy brands when they are on offer in the store they are shopping in. And thus lose much of any discount:wall: (if not losing it entirely).
The fact that (I suspect) most people will not get any discount, and most will in my view certainly not get a full discount, because they will buy at least some brands that are on promotional offers in T says more about the location, in-store siting and placement of promotional material and its ability to influence the customer than it does about anything else. How much you manage to resist this will influence how well you do on the T BG.0 -

I've always wondered what a red velvet cake is made of
*giggles*
Also red velvet involves a dash of cocoa with food colouring and some sort of acidic leavening ingredient like buttermilk and vinegar. Basically just a red cake though :rotfl:'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0 -

They are the ones I buy, the black onesI'd much rather not see glitch pictures that nobody had a chance to partake in and be ignorant to it than to have it splashed across with 'See this I got wahoo, but im not sharing it' caption. I can't believe I have to explain why that is a bad thing? More like bragging to me. And yes a facebook group exists where people share glitches, so why not post loot there and leave us mere mortals in ignorance. Not sure what it does to brag about.

Very well put DM, he's always been the same, arrogant, selfish, dis-honest.
The point you make about the glitch could have been a life saver to some is so very true. Not that they would take it as far as him.
