    Morning all

just contemplating taking a couple of my winter coats to be dry cleaned - we only seem to have Johnsons close by now.

it used to be on the !!!!!! clubcard list but does not seem to be any more and I cant see any Johnsons giftcards on our works gift card scheme

    2 coats for £18

that's bad enough as it is but OH will insist on making it worse by finding something he needs to be dry cleaned as well and doubling the bill.
the same happened with my winter boots. I wore 2 pairs over a couple of winters until it was a case of repair of dispose of them - but they were not replaceable so I just had to grit my teeth
    - £20 each for heels and soles.
OK then OH insisted his boots also need doing, a year old and not a mark on them and no amount of reasoning would make a different so an OMG became double OMG

It was reported it was giving a good comparison £6.46 against £4 in M's. Something that I need anyway so bonus if it still works.

Will report back if I ever get out today RL getting in the way at the mo.

I went to S this morning, and I used a fruit and veg bag that I'd previously got from M as I only had a couple of small items. I got it out of my hand bag.
When I'd finished the cheeky mare at the SS tills came over and said "we're not allowed to give those bags away", I told her it was mine from somewhere else.

Silly caw, I always keep a couple of these bags in my handbag for small items.

Well it does seem as if supermarkets are still territorial over their bags and will only issue a replacement if the BFL was theirs in the first place....
did my shopping in T and then had to go to S to do bag change as 3 were very badly worn.
Cant change them on a SS till which was empty so had to queue at a manned till...I asked just to change the bags only to be given 1 orange one and my other 2 back....apparently accoring to the assistant she couldnt change the other 2 because she did not recognise them....

My bags were the red comic relief ones....10 mins and 3 supervisors later and I finally allowed new bags!!!!!!
    Classic.
