Wasn't the "wee tub of rice glitch" the Great Asda APG Glitch of 2012?
When the multis didn't compare properly at other stores and you could buy a pot of Ambrosia rice pud + loads of other stuff, and everything in a multi compared @ the Ambrosia price in Waities.

Have a quick scan through and look at the comparisons, it was a great glitch while it lasted. :D

I remember it well. I still have loads of cleaning products in my stash from that.

Nothing much to report from this mornings expedition

I did though do some experimenting in Marks armed with the new sparks card.
I did a clothing purchase and paid partly with a mailing voucher and partly with a credit note. I got sparks points for the amount I paid for with the credit note.
In theory - for instance if you are close to the next loyalty level start a buying loop eg buy a £25 item and use your £25 credit note, get 250 sparks points. Take the item to CS for a return without your receipt and get another £25 credit note. Next time do a rinse and repeat.
It's quite a lot of effort and Marks today was very busy so I imagine its only worth doing if you are close to the very top tiers.

I also took an item to put in the Oxfam box - they now seem to have snazzy new versions like giant peddle bins rather than the cardboard bins. I made sure the till girl swiped my sparks card first and said I'd brought an Oxfam item and she asked if I'd actually put an item in. So OH took my donation and put it in, bin was sepeate from the tills - she had to see it being done. All the other till girls seemed smiley and chatty but I seemed to have got the miserable one.
Anyway my receipt shows that I have Oxfam donation so I will check at the end of the week to see if the 50 points have gone on.
Not sure what happens if you are not making a purchase though.
It was too busy today to have a proper look see as to how many Oxfam boxes are actually in store - in theory each bank of tills might have one so you could go to several tills and get your sparks scanned and put a donation into each. Might this work - possibly

I had an email the other day to review the item I got last weekend via click and collect so I am waiting for this to be approved and hopefully the review points will go on.

Great thank you - is it just the bakes on offer or bars too? Looking through the list if bars are included too it is a slightly lower return but also compare to T at £1 each.
