Morning all - bitter cold outside
a few queries.
has anyone had their Q £10 bonus paid out yet or at least had confirmation?
I did my orders last week and collected on Friday and Saturday. In the blurb it did say something about paying after 3 days so by whatever measure its day 4.
Put it on the To List for later
They said the £10 would show 3 days after it goes confirmed!
Chillax  Don't waste time and effort chasing them for something that may take until January! (or beyond)
My cashback went confirmed yesterday. I'll tell you when the £10 appears in my accountApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
another fabulous find in Aldi last night
We have been getting the Aldi own brand cheeses for months now - a range of standard cheddars for £1.55 for 350g and OH has wensleydale on his sandwiches
but I noticed yesterday they also have the specialist cheeses like wensleydale with apricots and wensleydale with cranberries £1.19 per 200g packs - this works out at £5.95 kg
we like it with salads and when doing ad hoc ploughmans platter type lunches
I looked at asda and theirs various between £8.50 and £12 a kg “Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

The one with apricots is gorgeous, but do not keep it in the plastic wrapper when you have opened it, it goes mouldy very quickly  to the extent that we have actually been forced to bin it, and I normally scrape off mould quite happily! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
That's a fantastic find mhoc, thank you.
Wensleydale is my Son's favourite cheese, and won't eat the cheddar that glitches now and again.Fighting Recurring Cancer0 -

So with that in mind does anyone have suggestions that compare well or are very low cost? Need to spend as little as possible overall!Dream of being mortgage free....

I tried to do a £10 choc shop with the hope that the Famous Names Truffles would glitch, but as you can see it didn't work out as I planned as the Benedicts Mints didn't compare as I thought it would. Oh well. I'll try again next week as I'm off to Devon for the weekend.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no 463 - Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts0 -

I also saw a continental cheese slices with pieces of smoked ham in the other day - this would be good for doing toasties“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove.
