pc add remover

what is the best free add remover for a pc I have tried to install add block plus but while it seems to install there are no desk top icons to set up the program, I am running windows 7 and my browser is IE11

    Ad blockers work as browser extensions not as desktop applications. Take a look in your IE settings. I don't use either adblock or IE myself so can't point to exactly where but it shouldn't be difficult.

    Drop IE11 in favour of chrome or firefox and then you can use ublock. Otherwise google adblock plus for IE11
