The August payment had £1227.00 gross and £12.40 tax added into the figures.
The tax code was also changed this month so these figures probably came from HMRC.
Your P45 details would appear to have been added by your employer in the July payment. They should not have done this these details should be advised by HMRC.
I would advise to start with speak to your payroll dept.
First confirm that the P45 details gross £1416.20 tax £26.80 were added by your employer for July payment.
Second was the adjustment that went through in the August payment from HMRC or something that they did.
If they did it you need to know where they got these figures from, but most likely it was HMRC. Assuming it was HMRC ask what they actually received was it £1227.00 gross and £12.40 tax or was it £1227.00 gross more than the P45 figure ie £2643 aprox and the same for tax ie £12.40 or £39.40.
When you have this info you will then need to contact HMRC to question where they got these extra details from.0 -
