Can anyone give me a list or programs that I can connect my piano keyboard to the pc so can transfer songs via mid thru usb? It would be good if I could play my piano and see it transfer to the midi piano online and record and save it.

I have one free program of a piano where I can drag midi files onto it and they play, but when I have tried to record on it, it does not work. Even when save files nothing there.

So a few suggestions of programs would be of help?

This is new to me and never tried it before....

Personally, I just use audacity to record (for guitar) plugged into a midi interface(Torq connectiv). However you may find the following guide useful if you want to map your piano as a midi controller to a virtual instrument. You need to have a decent cpu for that though as you may suffer latency issues.
