Car on finance - repeat issues

Good evening everyone!
Hopefully somebody can offer me some advice on this.
Bought a used car from a Peugeot dealership back in May on finance, paid the deposit with my credit card.
Since May the car has been in the garage 5 times, twice for problems with the steering which was fixed and the last 3 times because the engine warning light has come on. In total the garage has had the car for approx 6 weeks since May fixing these issues.
Now I've picked the car up today and less than 3 hours later the engine warning light has come on again.
The garage has said they will look at it and provide a courtesy car although grateful I'm not exactly happy with this situation.
I travel away for work approx 900 mile round trip ever other week I need a reliable car not something that breaks everytime I'm due back in work to say it has been a significant inconvenience would be an understatement. Last time I had to do the 900 miles in a 1L Peugeot 107 hardly a motorway car and I do not want a repeat of that journey again.
I have been told to take the garage back in on Monday morning and CAB etc is closed for the weekend so hopefully someone can give me some knowledge for when I go Monday morning!
Thanks
