Veritas Alarm Problem

HELP.....I have an issue with my Alarm...
Whan the alarm is set to FULL there is no issues...
However when set to PART only the internal sounder is activated, no sound at all from the extranal siren.
Can anyone give advice on how to fix this...

PS setting the alarm to FULL is not an option due to pets.

You'll need access to the programming options. Do you have the engineer access code?

If yes, then you presumably also have the installation (as well as the user) manual?

Here's the manual for a Veritas panel I installed last year...

The relevant parameter is on page 4 in the second section (you need option 2 setting to off, ie LED 2 should be off, not on, when you access 'miscellaneous selections 01').

Option 2: Call an engineer in.

This is normal for part set, usually you would be in the house.

It's not a fault, just the way it's programmed, (usually by default) should be able to change it using the manual above, but you will need the engineers code.
