Come back every day after 12 noon UTC. If your selfie is the day’s random winner then you win the jackpot!

By accessing or using The Selfie Lottery website, application (including but not limited to mobile apps) or any other service made available by The Selfie Lottery (collectively, the “platform”, however accessed you agree to be bound by the following terms of use. The platform is owned and controlled by Submission Technology Ltd. These terms of use affect your legal rights and obligations. If you do not agree to be bound by all of these terms then please do not access or use any website, application (including but not limited to mobile apps) or service made and or created by the platform or Submission Technology Ltd.
Basic terms
What do we do with your selfie?

1. Under no circumstances will any selfies or images be used for advertising purposes without the owner’s consent. Selfies and images will be displayed on The Selfie Lottery gallery, winner’s gallery (if applicable), The Selfie Lottery blog and our Selfie Game. Users may choose to opt out of displaying their selfie in such locations within their account settings. Some selfies or images may be displayed on our social sites including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
2. You must be at least 16 years of age to access or use the platform. By signing up to the platform you certify that you are of age to do so.
3. You may not under any circumstances post nude, violent, unlawful, hateful, discriminatory, infringing, threatening, pornographic or sexually explicit photos, selfies or other content to or via the platform.
4. In order for the platform to pay the winnings of the randomly selected user, said user must claim their winnings by clicking the “claim my winnings” button before 11:59am UK time the day following the draw. For example if user A won the draw on June 1st, they must claim their winnings before 11:59am UK time on June 2nd. If you have referred a friend to the platform via one of the refer a friend links and this friend wins the jackpot, this also entitles you to win the same jackpot amount. Once a successful referral has taken place The Selfie Lottery will then reward you and you only by doubling your winnings. Both users must claim their winnings respectively, if only one user claims their winnings only this user will be paid their winnings. Referrals via word of mouth do not count. A referral only counts when tracked via one of the platforms refer a friend links. Any referrals made on the day of your win will not count.
5. By referring a friend via email, social or any other means you consent that the recipient (friend) has consented to receiving emails or messages of this nature and that it is also within their best interest. The platform will not be held responsible for any referral emails sent to a members friend(s). All data will only be processed for the purpose of that specific email and will not be stored or used for further marketing use.
6. You must not any under circumstances bully, harass, threaten, stalk, impersonate, defame or intimidate other users, people, entities or staff of the platform.
7. The selfie or image you use as your entry to The Selfie Lottery must be strictly of yourself. Under no circumstances may you use an image of any other person, celebrity or other as your entry to one or any of our draws.
8. You are solely responsible for any and all activity that takes place through your account. The Selfie Lottery forbids the creation of an account for anyone other than yourself. Under no circumstances can you create multiple accounts for any reason including but not limited to gaining extra entries to attempt to defraud or increase your chances of winning The Selfie Lottery.
9. You confirm that your registration and any other details that you provide to the platform will be using your current and correct information. Registering with other details including false information invalidates your account with The Selfie Lottery and any winnings claimed will not be paid.
10. You agree that you will not obtain or use the login credentials of other Selfie Lottery users.
11. You may not use the platform to post any private or confidential information including but not limited to credit/debit card information, personal identification numbers, personal phone numbers or email addresses.
12. You are responsible for keeping your password secret and secure to you only.
13. You must not attempt to restrict, hinder or discourage the enjoyment of any user wanting to take part in the platform or violate any terms binding users with the platform. Violation of such terms, at the platforms discretion may result in termination of your account and associated accounts. You understand and agree that the platform will not under any circumstances be responsible for the content posted on the platform and that you use the platform at your own risk. If you violate these or any other terms stated creating risk for possible legal exposure for the platform, we reserve the right to stop providing you with all or part of the platform.
14. You are not to use the platform for any illegal or unauthorised purpose. By using the platform you agree to comply with all laws and regulations enforced within your geographical location including but not limited to tax and copyright laws.
15. You must not attempt to change, hack, modify, adapt or alter the platform in any way including but not limited to rigging or fixing any of the draws or competitions that take place on The Selfie Lottery or any aspect of the platform.
16. You must not use domain names or web URLs in your name or username without written permission from the platform. Your selfie must also not contain any external advertising without permission from The Selfie Lottery.
17. You must not disrupt or interfere with the platform’s servers, networks or any website or app associated with the platform including but not limited to transmitting or sending viruses, malware or any other code or instruction of a destructive or disruptive nature.
18. Under no circumstances must you create an account with the platform through unauthorised means, including but not limited to automated scripts, bots, spiders, crawlers or any other automated devices.
19. The platform expressly disclaims any responsibility and each participant hereby agrees to release and to the platform (and its employees, officers, directors, agents, marketing partners and affiliates) harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with any winnings or jackpot resulting from the delivery, acceptance and/or subsequent use or misuse of any prize or winnings. The platform (and its employees, officers, directors, agents, marketing partners and affiliates) are not responsible for any condition caused by events beyond the control of the platform that may cause the competition or draw to be disrupted. The platform reserves the right to modify scheduling of any competition or draw without prior notice at any time and for any reason. The platform reserves the right to terminate or suspend any user or partner sponsored competition or draw without notice at any time and for any reason. In the event of termination, suspension or modification of a competition or draw, the platform may, in its sole discretion, elect to award the prize to a winner randomly drawn from among all participants who have validly entered the Competition by that time.
The platform nor Submission Technology shall not be liable for any special indirect, punitive, incidental, economic, exemplary or consequential losses/damages relating to the participation or inability to participate in The Selfie Lottery. This also includes any damage to user’s computers, mobile phones or any other devices used to access The Selfie Lottery from any virus, bugs, tampering, fraud, error, defect, network failure or other form of malfunction. In no event will the platform or Submission Technology be liable to you or anyone else for loss, damage, injury, including but not limited to death or personal injury.

It is with great sadness that we’re announcing the closure of The Selfie Lottery.

Unfortunately we don’t have the time or resources the site needs to keep it going any longer :’(
