It is misty here too so hoping the bedding will dry.
Very relieved youngest starts a graduate job on Monday as she was getting so stressed and down.
Looks as if I will be on my own today so have frozen a couple of portions of the chicken broth I made yesterday and have some for lunch as well in the fridge. Think I might have mince or quorn in the freezer so could cook a batch of it and turn it into cottage pie or lasagne. I am trying to make a batch of different meals frozen for middle dd as she works such long hours just now.
Must remember to defrost the hanger steak for a meal tomorrow as older dd and her husband might be visiting.

Fingers crossed you get the answers you have been waiting for.
I remember the waiting around especially when a machine had problems but the staff were all lovely and obviously doing their best.

Afternoon all,
Little baby has now gone home. Enjoyed having him and was sad to see him goDH and his GF have gone to drop him off then probably gone back to her house to get some sleep. As much as they would like children when they get older they have both said they wouldn't want to be dealing with a baby and the lack of sleep on a regular basis...
Me and DH have been to do the Aldis shop and picked up the eggs, onions and spuds from the potato man. DH is currently whizzing up a batch of spud soup for a late lunch
Have a good Saturday0 -
Working my way through mount washmore, I have done 20 loads so far this week  with another two left to do thanks to the sprogs cleaning out their rooms and all the bedding being washed. If it is dry tomorrow I want to get the sofa covers off and do them as well, before winter sets in.
DH has done lawns this morning while I went down to to the market.
I have just had a look in the Christmas boxes, and to be honest I am nearly there, apart from a couple more pressies and some beer and mixers :j
Off to Morrisons in a little while to see if they have any lemon tea, neither they or Asda have had it in for weeks
I am going to do an easy tea tonight, egg, bacon, beans and mushrooms then I will settle down for Doctor Who, that is all I watch on a Saturday, I hate game shows, strictly, x factor etc etc.
Right better get my shoes on DH is bellowing

Am home, got the car and took mum on her various expeditions and then put all her shopping away. The drive home was interesting as I was testing all the new gadgets on the car - to not much effect!
Now got a glass of wine, put on the woodburner as the back rooms are rather cold and I love the look and will head for bed to watch Dr Who.0 -
[QUOTE=wealthy girl; Good morning everyone,
DD is going to take around her cv's this morning to see if she can get herself a little Saturday job, and then she's meeting a friend who I think is coming back to stay the night with us.Quote >>>
Have PM'd you about the above
JackieO xx
JackieO thank you very much for your PM, its much appreciated.
Today has been rather busy and have only just sat down again:rotfl:
DH is out at the moment so am waiting for him before I watch Strictly.
DD has had a bit of luck from handing out her cv's this morning as one hotel has offered her a trial this evening, so fingers crossed it goes well for her.
Her friend is here, so I am trying to entertain her until DD comes home.
DS is back from work, but I think he has gone to bed.:rotfl:
I made a quorn bolognaise for dinner and homemade garlic bread.
Have a good evening everyone x.SPC 11 #4450 -
Hello everyone, back from our short holiday the weather was very kind to us, we never had a coat on all week. Went on the beach and swimming and lovely walks feeding the ducks with DGS. Today I've been back at work just for the day giving Flu jabs at the GP surgery I used to work at. So I've not seen much of the day I was there from 9-7.30pm. I'm off to have a bath and watch abut if TV, managed to get the washing done and dried. Hugs to everyone xxWhy pay full price when you may get it YS0
