Hi I was wondering if it is possible to write a letter on an iPad2. My old desktop PC with word etc is so slow and driving me mad. i rarely write letters but there is the odd time when I need to do one.

Yes of course. Click on your "App Store" icon and search for Word Processor. You'll find dozens of Apps including "X Word Free" which, as its name suggests, is free. It can export to PDF and you can then send that PDF file directly to a printer (with a printing App) or email it to a computer and print from there. That's assuming you need a paper copy!0
