Is my broker in the wrong?

Ok, didn't know if the lender would communicate this to all brokers somehow.
Probably the most stressed I've ever been this mortgage malarkey.0 -
I didn't think the broker would have known I was just asking if they would. It could well be the developer is wrong, or the developer could have had valuation issues with my lender and could be trying to steer me away. Should know on Monday when I speak with my broker.0

If you are the regular broker for a site, you will usually be notified, as is the builder.
As an example, on one site Halifax told us how many more they would permit and we had to monitor (with the builder) what was going to Halifax directly, via us or via other brokers to ensure over-exposure didn't take place.
On two other sites, we didn't get that much information but as we'd done most of the property on the site, Nationwide's newbuild support team let us know they would accept no further business from a particular date.
If you are known as the specialist newbuild broker for the builder/site lenders will have a record and know who to inform. A broker doing one case on there would be unlikely to know unless the builder knew and informed them accordingly.I am a mortgage broker. You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. This signature is here as I follow MSE's Mortgage Adviser Code of Conduct.
