induction hob installation

New oven and induction hob have arrived. Other half is competent diyer and has fitted our kitchen appliances in the past but the induction hob is new to him. Should i get an electrician in? Installation manual reads 'Changing the intensity of the 13/16/20 amp connection current.
Before using the hob for the first time, the intensity of the hob connection must be tested. follow the steps below to change the current of the hob:
1. Turn on hob with main switch. Do not place pans on hotplates.
2. Within the following 60 seconds, adjust all hotplates to the desired power level according to the required connection current.
power level 1 20A
power level 2 16A
power level 3 13A
Turn off the hotplates in sequence starting from lower right.
At present we have a ceramic hob wired to a 32 amp cooker point, shared with a single, built in oven.
The cable from consumer unit to cooker point is 6mm2 on 32amp breaker. New induction hob is 10.5kw. Single oven, is 2.9kw and is connected to same cooker point. Cable length for consumer unit approx 17m.
