Marking as Default as "Satisifed"... timescale?

As part of a mortgage application my broker has spotted a default of £3.85 from BT. Yesterday I paid this in full with Past Due Credit Solutions, who assured me that they inform BT accounts daily of settled accounts.
How long would it take for BT to inform Equifax that the debt is satisfied? I asked Equifax for advice but they said I would need to speak to BT, but I have exhausted all their communication channels (including online chat) and no-one appears to know the timescale and, importantly, whether I can speed this up as we are in danger of losing the house that we are hoping to buy.

Generally companies report on a monthly basis, and then it's uaully up to 2 weeks for this to reflect on your credit file. Unfortunately it's not a quick process, but following the complaints process with BT may et them to update straight away, in which case you can expect it to reflect after around 48 hours f BT updating it0
