Domain backorder refund

Hi
Some months ago I ordered a domain name as a back order, which means that it wasn´t available at the time, but when it did become available the company would purchase it for me. I subsequently forgot about this order and no longer wish to have the domain. However, today the company purchased it for me and they say the purchase is non-refundable. They are a UK registered company and I live in Spain.
Am I entitled to a refund?
Many thanks for your help.

On what grounds do you think a refund is due?0

Because I´ve changed my mind about something I´ve purchased? No cash changed hands until today so I thought I may be entitled to change my opinion and return the domain name.

I suspect anyway you'd have no luck with this, but as you used what to you was a foreign company to make the order, it makes things even more difficult. You'd have to find out the regulations in the country that you placed the order and see what they are in the country the order was processed to see if you have any chance.0
