My laptop was dropped last week and I had to have a new hard drive put in. When I got the laptop back and from then on, I'm having problems when typing.
I'll be right in the middle of tapping away, look up (not that great a touch typer unfortunately) and the cursor at some point will have jumped up the screen slightly so I've typed in the middle of existing text. :wall:
It's doing my head in, of course, and it's never happened before the laptop broke, though it happens all the time now, so I'm sure it's not me!
Any ideas please?

I'm having a similar problem with a desktop. I'm using a USB-connected, optical mouse, and the mouse pointer will jump every once in a while. I've made sure it's connected properly, but it's still doing it.
Any ideas, anyone?:wall: Flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality - Am I flogging a dead horse? :wall:

Is it possible that the damage was caused when it was dropped, or would it be the fault of my computer guy?Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
