Paying off credit cards in full

My question back to you is why WOULDN'T I want a better credit score?
Even if I wasn't planning to borrow again anytime soon, why would I settle for a low credit score when I can improve it? Your question is a bit pointless...
However, in the next year or so the Mrs and I will probably want to buy a property together (assuming all goes well between us!) so a better score will obviously leave us with more options for this
An update for you, all cards have been paid off in full. I have closed 2 accounts for cards that were applied for a while back specifically for poor credit rating. I am left with a Barclaycard and an RBS card, both of which will be used purely for fuel and emergencies to ensure I can pay them off in full each month
Thanks all for your help0
