Same rate across all their tariffs. They're 0.02p cheaper than Airtricity who are cheapest for DD without paper billing. Not quite worth moving, for me.
That link didn't work for me:

Done a keypad top-up with SSE a couple of days ago, noticed it was one of those long long numbers that change the rate. Pressed `3` on the keypad to find out and up came 16.18P per unit.

    Time to change..

I changed over to Click Energy over a month ago - the whole process was straight forward. I have just received my first bill and everything was in order.
I had been with SSE and was outside their discount deal for new customers. I spoke to SSE after I had moved to Click (just to ensure everything was in order with them) and they indicated that if I had contacted them before moving to Click they would have offered me the same discount they are giving to new customers.

I also was with SSE. I called them before I changed to click. Thye came down close to click but I would have needed to go back on to a 12 month contract. So I went ahead with Click, no contract to worry about. Will only change though if there is a significant saving to be made.

  • Thanks for the updates, looks like the competition has hotted up nicely in NI in electricity. I'm now sticking to the keypads as it's much easier to compare the rates and simple to change over. I checked my rates and I'm on SSE with a very comparative rate to click at present, so sticking for now. Like the fact SSE has an iphone app too. Small thing but very handy and I don't think click has one
