Get over it.
I think you're mixing your units a bit. 60w bulb is 0.7p per hour.
(Or if you prefer, the bulb is £0.007 per hour and the phone call is £0.3 to £0.5 - unless you have inclusive minutes.)0 -
It's not really the cost it's the principle, you get home everyday knowing someones been in your home because the lights are on, If they weren't on you wouldn't have even thought about it. I'd mention it to them, people saying 'quit whining it's only 20p in cost' are wrong, the fact is it is rude, if someone spits in your face on the street it doesn't cost you anything either...0

are you willing to die on the cross for it?
lights left on is normally not a bad thing, if you don't like what the agents are doing, then it is simple just to tell them....0 -
I never let any agent or landlord bring strangers into my home. Not while im paying rent anyway. One agent insisted i must do so but i told him where to go. I just currently gave notice to my landlord and told him no viewings. Quite alot of people on this site are landlords themselves so you will get no support from them here. Agents do not care for you. They there to please landlord and make money.0

I think the lights are an issue. Whenever I go out I consider what lights should be left on or off, plus what curtains should be open or closed for security. Curtains open and lights on during the day/early evening show that the property is unoccupied. The agent should show some respect and leave everything as he/she found it!0

Stick a large note on the inside of the front door reminding the Agent to switch them off on the way out.0
