my sky box seems to turn itself onto standby mode all my itself every morning about 3 am, anyone know why?

    Yes. It's supposed to. A recent software update added "Auto Standby." You can turn it off in "Services, Sky + Settings".

    it is annoying, and you are correct sky introduced it to. Cut you carbon footprint by switching it off. lol
