Options
dumb question...but if a computer has a
Integrated 10/100 network interface

this is not the same as broadband modem??

Would i have to specify a modem as an extra for interface broadband use? What would one use this Integrated 10/100 network for?

Yep, the modem would connect to your PC either through USB or by a network cable into your onboard network port (depending on the modem)

    (Unless I've misunderstood the thread................)

You'd buy an ADSL Modem/Router. Have just done exactly that for my ADSL bb connection going with the NetGear DG834. Went with this one because I wanted a firewall on the modem, that way if I get paranoid I can always install a software firewall (such as Norton) on the PC and be extra safe.
